1. Who we are
This site (super.sanoc.com.tw) is operated by SANway Optoelectronics Tech. Corp., a Taiwan-registered company headquartered in Taiwan. Where we refer to “Sanoc”, “we”, “us” or “our” we mean the same entity.
2. What data we collect
- Form data: name, company, email, phone, country, and the message content you submit through RFQ or contact forms.
- Behavioural analytics: page views, click paths, scroll depth, device type, browser, approximate geographic region. Collected via Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-JFEK8HD5N4).
- Marketing tags: Google Ads conversion ID (AW-17414482190) used to attribute campaign effectiveness.

3. Why we collect it
- To answer your RFQ or technical question (legitimate interest in fulfilling your request).
- To prepare a quotation, ship a product, or fulfil a contract (contractual necessity).
- To improve site usability and content (legitimate interest, anonymised analytics).
- To measure ad effectiveness (consent-based, you can opt out via the cookie banner).
4. Who we share it with
- Google LLC — for analytics and ads (US, with Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/UK transfers).
- Logistics partners — for shipment delivery (carrier name varies by region).
- Hosting provider — GoDaddy.com LLC (data physically located in the US).
We never sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
5. How long we keep it
- RFQ & contact submissions: retained for 5 years for warranty and audit purposes, then deleted.
- Order records: retained for the legally required period under Taiwan tax law (currently 7 years).
- Analytics: aggregated and retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, then auto-deleted.
- Cookies: retention varies by cookie — see our Cookie Policy.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (Taiwan PDPA, EU GDPR, UK GDPR, California CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent (for cookie-based analytics and ads).
- Lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.

7. Security
The site is served over TLS 1.3 (HTTPS) and protected by web-application firewall rules. Form submissions are stored in an encrypted database with restricted internal access. We follow the principle of least privilege internally and conduct periodic security reviews.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices evolve. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are communicated via a banner notice on the home page for 30 days.
