What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. We use cookies (and similar technologies such as local storage) to remember session state, measure how the site is used, and attribute marketing campaign effectiveness.
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- WordPress session cookies — needed to keep you logged in if you have a backend account, and to display the cookie banner state. Session-only or up to 14 days.
- litespeed_* — page cache identifiers used by our CDN layer to serve you the right cached version. 24 hours.
Analytics (consent-based)
- _ga, _ga_JFEK8HD5N4 — Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-JFEK8HD5N4). Tracks page views, sessions, and aggregated user behaviour. 24-month retention.
- _clck, _clsk — Microsoft Clarity, used for heatmap and session-replay analytics (PII redacted automatically).
Marketing (consent-based)
- _gcl_au, _gcl_aw — Google Ads conversion attribution (AW-17414482190). Used to measure which campaigns lead to RFQ submissions. 90 days.
- NID, IDE — set by Google for personalisation of ads shown elsewhere on the web (third-party).
How to control cookies
- On this site: use the cookie banner to accept or reject analytics and marketing cookies. Necessary cookies cannot be disabled (the site won’t work without them).
- In your browser: all major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) let you delete and block cookies from settings. Refer to your browser’s help pages for instructions.
- Opt out of Google services: install Google Analytics Opt-out or use Google Ad Settings.
Do Not Track
We respect Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC header, we will treat it as a signal to disable analytics and marketing cookies for your session.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookies, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date refreshed. Material changes will be flagged in the cookie banner.
